Originally released in 1958, this version
was available in both monaural and "stereo" (electronically
re-channeled for stereo). The stereo version shown below left
states,
on the label, that it's in "360 Sound" stereo.
The artwork
for both the monaural and "stereo" versions remained
the same, although the "star
burst" would
disappear as seen in the 1970's reissue shown below right.
The blue border (shown on both versions below) first appeared
on the 1960's re-issue.
This version remained
in print until the late 1960s,
when in 1970 the artwork was replaced by the "big fat
close-up" version,
and the mono edition was discontinued alltogether.
This "Judy
on the stool" cover art would be briefly re-introduced
in the late 1970's/early 1980's prior to the first CD release.
The sound on all versions
aside from the mono edition was the simulated stereo.
