The Warner Archive Collection
The Warner Archive Collection has become the label of choice for the release of Judy’s MGM film catalog. Luckily for fans, the label has begun to release newly remastered editions of the films in HD for the first time.Â
Below are all of the Archive releases and you’ll notice some repeats. The Archive has re-released films in the standard DVD format as well as releasing new Blu-rays (these are the sparkling new HD upgrades), and also re-releasing previously out of print Blu-rays originally released by the Warner Home Video label. Not confusing at all!
The thumbnails below are listed in reverse chronological order and are links to the separate Warner Archive Collection page here in The Judy Room that provides details about each release (and where to buy them).

The Wizard of Oz
The Wizard of Oz has been released and rereleased (and rereleased and rereleased…) on home media since the beginning of the home media “revolution” in the late 1970s. It’s no wonder. The film is a staple of childhood movie watching and a must-have for any film collector or movie fan.
Below are the highlights. The images here are just some of the DVD, Blu-ray, 3D, and 4K releases. The subpages have even MORE versions released in those years and/or prior, including laserdisc and VHS.Â
Below: The latest edition, released in 2024 in celebration of the film’s 85th anniversary. .
Below: The 4K premiere, released in 2018 for the film’s 80th anniversary. Left to right: The standard edition; the steel-case edition; and the UK deluxe edition.
Other Film Releases
The following are the various releases of Judy’s films in the DVD, Blu-ray, UHD, and 4K formats. Most of these are the original Warner Home Video DVD and Blu-ray titles released before their Warner Archive took over.
