This album
is misleading. Most of the tracks are not from Judy singing
in San Francisco. Most are from the 1967 "Judy At The
Palace"
album, a few are from Judy's 1952 appearance in San Francisco,
California at the Curran Theater. "Purple People Eater" is
a line recording made directly from Judy's microphone
from her September 1958 appearance in Chicago, Illinois.
This was executive produced by Judy's ex-husband
Sid Luft, who would become "notorious" for releasing albums
that were mis-represented, such as listing a song as "live"
when in fact it would be a studio recording with applause added.
