This Sony Music Special Products release from
1990 was the first time that a label attempted to present the
soundtrack as heard in the film. Sony simply did what most
fans had done for a long time: record the soundtrack from the
actual soundtrack of the film, with footsteps and other extraneous
noises apparent.
Sony included the cut "Voodoo", using the edited version as
presented on the 1976 LP "Cut! Outtakes From Hollywood's Greatest
Musicals".
