MCA Records briefly held the rights to M-G-M
Record's soundtracks. In the mid-1980's they released a few
CDs, LP's, and cassette tapes of some of the "two-fer" soundtracks
from 1974. These editions quickly disappeared and are very
difficult to find now.
Of note on this album is the song "House Of Singing Bamboo"
from Pagan Love Song, sung by Howard Keel. The song was originally
written for The Harvey Girls with different lyrics and titles
"Hayride". That song was cut from the film, and here 5 years
later, it was taken out and given new lyrics and a new title.
