ABOUT
THE DISC & RECORDINGS:
Here is another bootleg CD. This time
featuring rare (for the time) performances spanning the years
"1953 - 1965". Actually the only song on this CD from the 1950's
is the 1951 radio performance of "Wishing Has Made It So". The
latest song is actually from "Judy
And Liza Live At The Palladium" - recorded November
8, 1964. But since the CD doesn't have any dates listed for any
of the tracks, the unsuspecting buyer wouldn't know any better
unless they were already familiar with the material.
Most of the series tracks can be found on the recent CD releases:
"The Show That
Got Away", "That
Old Feeling - Classic Ballads From The Judy Garland Show";
and "Great Day! Rare
Recordings From The Judy Garland Show".
Aside from a couple of clunkers, the tracks on this CD
sound pretty good. Especially for a bootleg release from
1990.
