These are very rare "MGM
Reporter" records
that were given out to the various radio stations for broadcast on the air
at the appropriate time.
They contain performances from the prerecording sessions
for the films they're promoting and are technically the first "MGM Soundtracks".
Notice how they say "For Sustaining Program Only - Not to be played on a
sponsored program other than a program sponsored by a theatre in which Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer
pictures appear."
As well as "Please destroy after use" (obviously
someone DID NOT do this!).

is Program No. MGM 21528 - for release on September 15, 1940.
The Christmas 1940 disc (below) is Program No.
MGM 21572 - for release on December 15th (1940) Recorded 11-28-1940
except
Judy's version of "Silent Night" is the studio recording she made
for the 1937 M-G-M holiday short of the same name.
The Babes On Broadway disc
(below) is Program No. MGM 21634 - for release on December 15, 1941.
The For Me and My Gal disc (below)
is Program No. MGM 21669 - for release on October 15, 1942.
