ABOUT THE DISC & RECORDINGS:

This Rhino CD is the only time the soundtrack has been released since the original LP was released in 1962. As an added bonus, we get to hear demo tracks of composer Harold Arlen and lyricist E.Y. "Yip" Harburg performing several of the songs that would eventually be in the film.

As usual with Rhino, the CD comes with a wonderful booklet with great liner notes by George Feltenstein. This CD is a delightful experience from start to finish!
