A nicely done deluxe boxed set of 6 records covering the great MGM Musicals over the years, with two bonus records of "Great MGM Themes" and "Music from the Films" (mostly non-MGM films). The cover art is vintage 70's pop-art.

All of the records have the M-G-M Records label except record number six "Music from the Films", which has the "A Columbia Musical Treasury" label. All of the records have Columbia House record numbers and side numbers.

A special hardbound book with the same cover was released in conjunction with this boxed set.
