ABOUT
THE DISC & RECORDINGS:
This is
an abridged version of the complete soundtrack released
by Rhino as a part of the 4-CD set
"The
Judy Garland & Mickey Rooney Collection". This single
disc contains all of the songs and performances by Tommy Dorsey
And His Orchestra, but omits the orchestra tracks.
It's still a well done CD with a nice booklet. For those who
want more of a "cast album" of this classic Gershwin score
rather than an extensive soundtrack, this is the CD to get.
