There is no actual soundtrack album for Every Sunday. Obviously, because it's a short, the number of songs are limited. The songs have simply popped up on various compilations. This particular CD is the closest to a "soundtrack album" ever released, adding the "recorded directly from the soundtracks of the films" versions of Ziegfeld Girl (1941) and Meet Me In St. Louis (1944).

The sound quality on this CD is not that great, although it's one of only two CDs that has the "complete" soundtrack to Ziegfeld Girl. Better to stick with the Rhino CD of the soundtrack to Meet Me In St. Louis as well as "Collector's Gems from the MGM Films" for most of the songs from both Every Sunday and Ziegfeld Girl.

Of special note is the special edition laser disc boxed set "That's Entertainment! The Ultimate Musical Treasury" which is the only source for the exisiting pre-recording sessions for Every Sunday. Although out of print, it's worth looking for on eBay or other auction sites.
