Another series from England that features M-G-M Records versions of various soundtracks, plus additional studio and film performances by one of the featured stars. In this case, a collection of Fred Astaire performances..
The sound quality on this CD is better than most that feature the M-G-M Records versions. So much so that it's possible the original 78 discs were remastered (as is more common in Europe than in the U.S.), rather than copies of the copies of the copies of the MGM Records LPs or CDs that have been released before.
