All The Things You are

ABOUT THE DISC & RECORDINGS:

This 1993 release is one of the few good compilations of Judy's radio shows ever released on CD. The other good "Judy on radio" CD releases are comprised mainly of her performances on "The Bing Crosby Show" in the late 1940's and early 1950's. This CD goes back to Judy's feature film debut in Pigskin Parade and features performances up to 1944

The sound quality on this CD is excellent. And although it says it's "Volume One", no "Volume Two" was ever released. Fans are still waiting for more comprehensive CD compilations of Judy's radio work. Sadly, this is the most under valued aspect of her career.

This CD was re-released in 1996, coupled with an added CD of the June 29, 1939 radio broadcast of "Behind The Scenes At The Making Of The Wizard Of Oz".
