In The Good Old Summertime features several great musical performances by Judy, but it’s her comedic talents that really get to shine.  Judy and Van Johnson make a nice team and all of the performances are well done, including Buster Keaton in his final MGM film, and little 2-1/2-year-old Liza Minnelli in her first film (she plays the child of Judy and Van’s characters at the end of the film).
