To: Arthur Freed Subject: Illness in Cast -- MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS From: Dave Friedman/Al Jennings Date: 1/28/44 I talked with Mary Astor and found out that today, for the first time since January 10, she has no fever. However, she has developed sinusitis but believes this can be cleared up with a few days' treatment. Miss Astor is going to see her doctor this afternoon and will telephone me his opinion as to when she can come to work. P.S. At 4:15 p.m. Dr. Kully telephoned me that he had just washed out Miss Astor's antrum and that she had a temperature of 99.8. Until her temperature becomes normal he will be unable to say before Wednesday or Thursday of next week. |
