Although Captitol, MGM, and Decca had been releasing
compilation albums throughout the 1950's and 60's, this was the
first to have the rather obvious title "Over The Rainbow". These
days it seems as though every other Garland CD release is titled
"Over The Rainbow".
This album is a compilation of Judy's Capitol recordings, released
under Capitol's budget label "Pickwick". No credits
are given on the sleeve. It would be nice to know who painted
the unusual and unique image of Judy seen on the cover.
