ABOUT THE DISC & RECORDINGS:

This is the rare 1957 single, complete with Capitol sleeve, of Judy's single-only release "It's Lovely To Be Back In London". The "B" side features her recording of "By Myself" from the "Alone" album. This was also released in England by Capitol in 78rpm format, #14791.

"It's Lovely To Be Back In London" was also released in 1957 as a special gift to audience members at Judy's appearance at the Dominion Theater in London, England on October 16, 1957. Click here to see that special 45 release and it's rare insert.

This single was one of the rarest of all of Garland's Capitol, making it's CD debut in 1999 on the EMI compilation "Legends of the 20th Century: Judy Garland" and most recently on the 2002 Capitol compilation "Classic Judy Garland: The Capitol Years (1955 - 1965)".
