Many wonderful things have been happening over the past year, lots of events and products. I haven't been as prudent with The Judy Room newsletters as I should have been. Here are some highlights plus some things to look forward to in 2009:


JUDY GARLAND IN CONCERT
Premiering on June 28th in Boston, this live multi-media concert event was a resounding success. A subsequent show in Utah was just as successful. Let's hope this travels across the country and across the globe. Be sure to contact your local symphony to see if they would be willing to schedule and/or sponsor this. A STAR IS BORN SUPER RESTORATION
Warner Home Video has announced their first ever 6k high resolution restoration of Judy's 1954 masterpiece A Star Is Born. This will be released in both Blu-Ray and regular DVD and is sure to be the ultimate version of this amazing film. Stay tuned to The Judy Room News Page for updates just as soon as I can get them!

THE WIZARD OF OZ 70TH ANNIVERSARY
Things are gearing up for the 70th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz in 2009. Everything from designer ruby slippers to stamps to dolls and more!! I've created a special "Oz News Page" to try and keep up with the news, events, and products as they happen!


10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE JUDY ROOM
2009 is also the 10th anniversary of The Judy Room! Wow! 10 years! I hope to have some special pages and events throughout the year. Check out The Judy Room Archive Pages for a history of the site, with lots of images showing the progression of the site, as well as the original "tour" of the room.
