I
COULD GO ON SINGING (United Artists 1963)
(Release Date: May 11, 2004)
Judy's final film. And a good
one at that. In this semi-autobiographical film Judy plays
an American concert performer on tour in London. She looks
up the man she had a child with years ago, and convinces
him to let her spend some time with the boy, now in his early
teens. Naturally she ends up not wanting to let him go.
This film features one of Judy's best screen performance.
She gets to act up a storm, and sing some great songs including
the title tune; "By Myself"; "It Never Was You";
and "Hello,
Bluebird".
