Broadway Melody

BROADWAY MELODY OF 1936 (MGM 1936)/BROADWAY MELODY OF 1938 (1937)
(Release Date: April 8, 2008)

Judy's first feature film for MGM, Broadway Melody of 1938 is the second half of this double feature from Warner Home Video. Judy's rendition of "You Made Me Love You (Dear Mr. Gable)" stole the film from such stars as Robert Taylor, Eleanor Powell, George Murphy, and the inimitable Sophie Tucker. This classic sequence is just as magical today as it was when first released. Judy also sings "Everybody Sing" and does a sweet dance with Buddy Ebsen. As if this isn't enough, who can resist the added attraction of Eleanor Powell's amazing dancing? She was incredible!

This double feature is sold separately, and as part of the "Classic Musicals From The Dream Factory Volume 3".
