 ABOUT
THE DISC & RECORDINGS:
This 45rpm "Extended Play" record from England is very rare, and very unique. It's produced by EMI Ltd. who usually released Judy's Capitol Records recordings in the U.K. I say usually because this record, while also produced by EMI was released by Columbia Records, even though the Garland performances here are from her Capitol Records recordings. We think. Having not heard this record, I don't know where "We're Off To See The Wizard" comes from.
Judy only recorded 4 tracks for Columbia Records in 1953. The only other Columbia Garland record was the soundtrack album for 1954's A Star Is Born.
This EP is from the early 60's, as indicated by the note on the back of the jacket that reads "Recording First Published in 1959".
