ABOUT
THE DISC & RECORDINGS:
This
early Garland CD from 1987 is a "budget" release
from the Pickwick label in England. Although it's titled
"In Concert", the CD consists of performances from Judy's
TV series "The Judy Garland Show". The sound quality is not
the greatest, even though the CD is promoted as "digitally
remastered". The tracks are obviously taken from the inferior
sources commonly used back in those "pre-restoration"
days.
The recent releases of CDs such as "The
Show That Got Away" or "Classic
Ballads" make this release sound like an old 78 from
1935!
