Judy in ParisABOUT THE DISC & RECORDINGS:

After her bout with hepatitis in 1959, a newly revitalized Judy toured Europe in 1960. While in London, she recorded the now famous "London Sessions" for Capitol Records. Judy also changed the format of her show to become a variation on what would be, the following year, her definitive concert at Carnegie Hall: Just Judy - no vaudeville format, no dancing chorus boys, just Judy in concert.

This concert performed at the Olympia Theater in Paris, France was recorded on October 28, 1960 and broadcast by the radio station "Europe 1" on November 3, 1960.

This CD release has a great booklet with wonderful liner notes by Lawrence Schulman, with some nice photos.

On September 8, 2005, Laserlight (in conjunction with Europe 1 & RTE) re-released this this concert on CD, with different cover art (click here for Amazon.com page). The concert itself is the same as this original CD release.
